Coworking in Rosemont: the Angus Technopole

CoworkingBusiness

Looking for an office in Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie, you hit a wall quickly: the borough is residential across almost all of its area, and conventional office space there can be counted on one hand. The Angus Technopole is the exception. That is where our east-end Montreal coworking space sits, on rue Rachel Est.

Here is what you'll find there, what it costs and who it suits. Prices are the ones posted in October 2026.

Where exactly

The address is 2901 rue Rachel Est, suite 40, Montreal, Quebec H1W 4A4. It is inside the Angus Technopole, the former Canadian Pacific Angus Shops, redeveloped into an employment district in the heart of Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie.

Getting there: Préfontaine metro station is nearby, several STM bus lines serve the area, and the neighbourhood connects well to the bike path network. There is a bike rack on site. By car, you arrive via rue Rachel Est and park on the surrounding streets. That is the point to check against your schedule: unlike our Brossard and Longueuil spaces, there is no free parking in the building.

What's on site

  • 43 furnished private offices, from a single-person office to a team room.
  • 75 dedicated desks in the open area.
  • 4 meeting rooms, bookable with or without a membership.
  • A reception desk, a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge and common areas.
  • High-speed internet, unlimited coffee, accessible facilities.
  • A business address with mail handling, as an option.

The team is on site Monday to Friday. Members come and go 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with an access card. Visitors and non-members are welcome Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. One detail that saves disappointment: dogs are not allowed at Angus.

The prices

Three workspace plans:

  • Découverte, $199 per month. An unassigned desk in the open area, Monday to Friday during opening hours.
  • Essentiel, $299 per month. A desk that is yours, 24/7 card access, and the business address included.
  • Professionnel, $399 per month. Everything in Essentiel, plus a monthly credit allowance for meeting rooms.

Private offices start at $398 per month at Angus, depending on size. That is the lowest entry price in our network for a closed office, which has more to do with the east-end market than with the quality of the space.

The business address on its own, with no workspace, is $89 per month at Angus. Meeting rooms are billed hourly, $10 per person the room can seat, with discounts of up to 35 percent when you buy a credit bundle. There is an $85 one-time account opening fee for the access card.

In every case the membership is monthly. There is no one-year lease to sign, no fit-out costs and no furniture to buy.

Who it suits

Angus is our most affordable space, and the one that draws the most small teams from the east end of the island. Three profiles do particularly well there.

The local freelancer. If you live in Rosemont, La Petite-Patrie, Hochelaga-Maisonneuve or the Plateau, you arrive on foot or by bike. That is the difference between an office you use and an office you pay for. A ten-minute commute happens every day; a fifty-minute commute happens three times, then never again.

The team of three to eight. With 43 closed offices, you can take one office and add a second when the team grows, without renegotiating anything. This is the scenario where coworking beats a commercial lease: you pay for the people you have, not the ones you hope to have in three years.

The company that needs an east-end address. If your clients or job sites are in the east end and your team works from home, the business address at $89 per month gives you an official foothold and somewhere to receive people, without renting an office nobody will sit in.

And the rest of the network

Angus is not an island. Our other Montreal spaces are in Old Montreal, on rue McGill, and at Royalmount, on boulevard Décarie in Mont-Royal. Access to the network of eight locations is included with some plans and available as an add-on with others, which matters when you have a South Shore meeting on Tuesday and a writing day in your own neighbourhood on Wednesday.

Come and see

The only way to know whether a space suits you is to work a real day in it, at the hour you usually work. The trial day at Angus is free and carries no commitment. Write to us and we'll hold a spot for you.
